I am all set up in my new studio space at the Co-op. Although I struggle to get in there to work a lot of days (OK, most days), I am making some real progress on personal projects both in and out of the studio (which is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish) as well as getting set up to teach some sewing classes. EEK!! I am nervous about teaching. I have never really done it before except in a one-on-one situation so this will be a very interesting adventure. The Co-op is called Artopia One Stop ART Co-op and you can check us out on FaceBook.
Also, I have now made two of the four payments to my upcoming class that I will be taking in July, AND, paid for my plane tickets!! WOOT!!! That is going to be an amazingly interesting new adventure as well!! I am so very happy to be doing it, even if it scares the crap out of me. :-D
Have a blessed day!

Sooooo much has happened!!
Hello everyone! I can't believe how much has happened in the last couple of months, much less the last two years. There has been so much change going on with me and my life, that I have had to focus pretty damn hard on just getting through it all. And recording any of it was just too time consuming. It has been wonderful, and even sometimes painful, but I really wouldn't change a bit of it. I was well past the point of needing these changes and I am grateful to have made them and to be continuing to make them. My life has improved so much that I am astonished at having been stuck for so long. Guess I just had to meet the right people and be in the right spot!! ;-)
Well here I am, and I am proud of the accomplishments I have made and in the person I have become, and I haven't been able to say that in a looooooong time. I have made some major progress is dealing with and managing my clinical depression and now I have joined an Art Co-op to help build a business for myself in a creative format and to help bring my community together. Although we just started this Co-op, we are having a wonderful time working towards our goals. I am looking forward to all of the wonderful new experiences and friendships that will come out of it. I am also making plans to take an Art Coaching class so that I can officially teach a particular art style. I am giddy with excitement and nervousness about it, but I definitely want to do it!
So stay tuned for pictures of the Co-op and more news on my class as I work my way towards it! Yippee!!!
May you be blessed!

Mundane Life
So it just goes to show how true my "About Me" section is. I really have been stuck in reality. I sooooo didn't realize that it has been almost 2 full years since my last post!!! CRAP! I had not even realized how much time had passed. But, that being said, I have made some AMAZING progress in some areas of my life that truly and desperately needed it. And I am so happy I have done the work!! I still have work to do, but looking back at what I have accomplished completely motivates me to keep on working to improve myself and my life.
I have to say I have been extremely blessed to have had some help along the way from some very lovely friends. And, from this wonderful book I have found that helped me not only get motivated, but helped to keep me moving. That isn't saying I didn't have any setbacks, because believe me I did, and still do! But I don't stay down for long, long, long periods of time like I used to. Leonie Dawson has been one of the best things to happen to me in the last year! Check her out here if you are ready to motivate your life. But only if you are comfortable with hippy-dippy, woo-woo love!!! Ha! Even if your aren't, it doesn't hurt to look into her workbooks.
Her planner has helped me to put my goals into perspective and keep me uplifted enough to move towards them. The 2015 planner looked like this, only without the bow.

She has revised and added to the 2016 planner and we are getting so much more. This is what the new bundle looks like. If you would like to order it for yourself, click here.
I really can't describe how excited I am to see what the next year will bring!! I have been hard at work the last few weeks creating stuff to sell. Not much at the moment, but it all has to start somewhere right? Right!! So off I go to create more and get back on track to making the life I want.
Peace, Love and Blessings!

Without Further Ado......My First Hook-In!
(Please forgive me. I am a little on the late side in posting this. I got back
home last Wed. but we have had lots of problems with our internet and
computers. So, to say the least, I am just now getting this done. I had it mostly typed up and ready to go but I was planning on showing you how my piece turned out. Unfortunately, that will have
to wait as well because I can't find my camera cord and the only
computer that is currently working (for now) won't take my SD card!
Grrrrrr!!! So I will get that up just as soon as I can. Thanks for understanding.)
So I went to my first hook-in this weekend with my sister Vicki. There were rug hookers and wool everywhere you looked!! It was kind of crazy but I had a great time. My sister taught one of the four classes and I got to participate in that class. Vicki was teaching needle felting (to be used on hooked rugs) while the rest were teaching about actual rug hooking. Well since I don't do rug hooking, I just did my needle felting on a piece of wool fabric that isn't appropriate for rug hooking. I love the way it turned out!!
There were three other ladies taking the class as well. They were all so very nice to me. They definitely made me feel very welcome and at ease. This first picture is of me working on my project. The second one is of I.T. (short for Itinia) working on hers. She was so funny! The third one is of Linda (in the pink) and Leslie (in the blue). They were all such sweeties!
Here are the ladies with their finished projects. Well, they were finished with the felting part anyways. They still have to hook the rest of the rug. Mine is still in the works at this point.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend too! I know I did! XD

Going on an Adventure!!
Relaxing time is over! Tomorrow I will be going to Arkansas with my oldest sister. There is a hook-in this weekend and I will get to learn a little bit about rug hooking and some more about needle felting. And, it will give me some time away from home. I am very excited! I guess that means I should get some batteries for my camera. Who knows what all neat stuff I will see and learn. I just hope my husband and son can REALLY survive on their own for a week. We will see! You can check out some of my sisters stuff over at her blog.
Have a great week and I will see you after I get back home!
