Henry

I have finally finished my pieces that I have been working on for the last year and a half.  I just sent out an email as well to Henry's mother to show her what I have done.  I hope very much that she likes them.  I hope you do too.  I am very happy with how they have turned out.  These are my first attempt an hand embroidery.  Not too shabby.

I finished the tree!

So I finally managed to wrangle this silly tree into submission.  It has eluded me since day one.  The putting together of the tree was simple, but I just couldn't figure out how to stitch it down.  Well, inspiration came when I went to a art show in Chicago with my oldest sister and then it was just finding time to work on it.  Now all that is left to do is to put a back on it so that it can be hung on the wall.  What do you think? I just love the little bird!!  :-D

My current project

Here is an updated picture of my project, although it is no longer current.  I can't seem to keep the posting current with the real work.  LOL.   I have been working on this for over a year now and I'm loving the way it is turning out.
